Itinerary

 

This activity focuses on sensory analysis, enabling you to explore and identify the intensities, aromas, and flavors of various olive oils. You’ll learn to appreciate what makes an olive oil exceptional—and how to detect common faults.
Using official International Olive Council (IOC) tasting glasses, you’ll sample a curated selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oils (EVOOs) from different olive varieties and regions of Greece. Along the way, you’ll also discover how geography, cultivation practices, and olive types influence an oil’s character.

In a hands-on, interactive session, you’ll pair EVOOs with local foods, gaining insight into olive oil’s transformative impact on flavor.

We’ll also explore the fascinating story of olive oil—from its role in ancient Greek society and rituals to its modern health benefits as a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet.

A minimum of two participants is required for the experience to take place. Solo participants are welcome but must cover the cost of two.

We require a 50% deposit for all tours when booking. We can accept deposits and payment via PayPal, Revolut, Wise or bank transfer (in EU) . If your paying the balance in person the day of the tour, we can accept cash payment or by credit card. 

Deposit

We operate on a “first-come, first-served” basis. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is refundable up to 2 weeks before the experience.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 2 weeks in advance: Full refund
  • Less than 2 weeks in advance: 50% refund
  • No-shows: 100% of the fee is charged
